Veteran Market
Our Veteran Market relies on the generosity of corporate and individual monetary and food donations to operate. We distribute items such as cereal, pasta, vegetables (both fresh and canned), soups, meats, fruits (fresh and canned), and dairy products. Personal care items for men and women, such as razors, deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, are also available. We also accept household items such as laundry soap, dish detergent, kleenex, paper towels, and toilet paper.

We also have an Amazon wish list if you prefer to shop from the comfort of your own home. Amazon wish list items can be directly shipped to our office.

Our Veterans Market is open 4 days each week. Veterans can access the Markt every two weeks and receive personal care items once a month.
Weekly Lunches
FREE weekly lunch served every Thursday from 11:45am-12:15pm
(unless closed for a holiday) for our Veterans, Widows, Active-Duty, Reservists, National Guard, and their spouses.
Recreation Activities
- The Pool Tournament is on the third Saturday of each month (unless closed for a holiday), be here by 8:15 am. The pool tournament starts promptly at 8:30 am.
- Hi-Low Card Group every Saturday morning starting at 8:00am (unless closed for a holiday).
- We have Bingo events and plenty of other activities to do throughout each month.
Emergency Financial Assistance
Need assistance with housing or utilities? We are here to help veterans short term needs to help get them back on their feet.
Resource Center
We work with a variety of local, state, and national agencies to help provide veterans with work assistance, housing, mental and medical assistance.
April Events
From April 1st through April 30th, Hy-Vee is partnering with the Freedom Foundation to help refill our Veteran's Market.
April 25th We're partnering with ServiceMaster by Rice and Hy-Vee for the Battle of the Branches. From 1pm-3pm visit participating Hy-Vee's to donate and support your branch of the military.
